About The Role

We are looking for a skilled IT Engineer join our Data & Technology team full-time. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in managing IT systems, resolving hardware and software issues, implementing security best practices, and ensuring operational continuity in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires strong troubleshooting skills and a collaborative approach to work with cross-functional teams to enhance technical operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for desktop, laptop, mobile devices, and peripherals (Level 2/3).
  • Manage macOS workstations including provisioning, patching, and imaging.
  • Maintain and support cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, AWS).
  • Configure and manage network devices (firewalls, routers, switches, wireless APs).
  • Troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, VPN, printing, applications, and hardware failures.
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve hardware repairs and upgrades, including replacing components, running diagnostics, and performing maintenance.
  • Implement and monitor security practices (antivirus, endpoint protection, data loss prevention).
  • Own and manage ticketing system to resolve incidents and requests.
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes (accounts, devices, access control).
  • Maintain an organized and updated inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and backup/restore procedures.
  • Document IT procedures, solutions, configurations, and changes.
  • Monitor systems using performance monitoring and logging tools.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, security threats, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4–7 years of experience in IT support or systems administration, preferably in a customer-facing corporate or retail setting.
  • Proven expertise in troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues across macOS, iOS, and Microsoft platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft administration tools, including Entra ID (Azure AD), Office 365, and Exchange Online.
  • Hands-on experience with MDM platforms, remote support tools, and ticketing systems.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols and infrastructure: Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs.
  • Scripting ability in Python or PowerShell for automation and efficiency.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
  • Awareness of information security best practices and exposure to SOC 2 or similar compliance requirements, including endpoint security, access controls, and audit readiness.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, identity management, and IT compliance frameworks.
  • Preferred Certifications: CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+, Microsoft Certified MS-102 or SC-300, ACSP, or AWS SysOps Administrator.
