VantageScore® consumer credit scoring models combine the need for both financial inclusion and dependable predictiveness across all scoring ranges. About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Facilities and Events to oversee the management of our physical spaces and the execution of high-quality events. This on-site role requires strong leadership, strong negotiation skills, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure seamless facility operations and event coordination. The ideal candidate will balance in-office responsibilities with maintaining efficiency and collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilities Management:

  • On-Site 5 Days a week, Monday - Friday
  • Domestic Travel 1-2 times/per month
  • Oversee office construction and management, maintenance, safety, and security of office and event spaces
  • Lead and manage a team of 3 Office Managers
  • Manage vendor relationships, including cleaning, security, and maintenance services
  • Develop and implement policies for workspace utilization and office efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and accessibility regulations
  • Manage office supplies, equipment procurement

Event Planning & Execution:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of company-wide events, including conferences and corporate gatherings
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external events, ensuring smooth logistics and operations
  • Develop event budgets, timelines, and logistics plans to ensure successful delivery
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution
  • Oversee venue selection, contract negotiations, and vendor management - oversee event contracts, ensuring all terms are met and within budget
  • Manage on-site event logistics, including setup, execution, and post-event evaluations
  • Develop event timelines, budgets, and post-event evaluations for continuous improvement
  • Ensure all events reflect brand identity and company values
  • Lead on-site office operations five days per week, ensuring seamless execution of facility needs
  • Maintain strong communication with remote and in-office teams to facilitate efficient workflows
  • Implement technology solutions to enhance event management

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • **Must reside in the San Francisco Bay Area**
  • 8+ years of experience in facilities and/or event management in a corporate setting, with leadership experience preferred
  • Experience leading, managing, and developing a team of people
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and event compliance requirement
  • Proficiency in facility management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Collaborative, Team Player, Effective Communicator
